Sometimes an artists captures a moment. They truly become the representation of that moment. Their music, their face, their voice, their tears, these things all combine to become that short moment in time between the before and the after.

In a. very real sense Dason Jonovan captures everything repellent and repugnant about the sick year that was 1989. He ruined years that came before. He trampled and fouled years that came after. But everything bad about 1989 is captured in the cesspit of music here.
