Pornsick by the Femegades

 

Being morally correct does not make music good. There are some bands that come from such a place of virtue that it is a sin to criticise them, because by not enjoying their music you somehow disrespect their ethical core. I will not make a list of such bands because the moment the conversation goes from generic to specific the hate mail will follow.

So to Femegades. Here is shall be specific.

Certainly on the right side of the moral tracks, this band take an echo of the Shop Assistants and apply modern sensibility and they are superb. Good on every level. They say things that must be said in ways that are worth listening to. Probably the best new band I have heard this year. Except perhaps Molosser.
